Botero in China
Fernando Botero was the world’s most prolific and successful living international artist, and the first to hold a major exhibition at The National Museum of China in Beijing, a rare honour.
We were invited to create the ‘Botero in China’ brand and co-produce the exhibitions in Beijing and Shanghai, working with the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Columbian Embassy, supported by the China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) and UBS.

The most popular exhbition of the year!
We led the PR and marketing, producing all communications and collateral. We arranged all the press conferences, wrangled coverege in over 300 media outlets. We even managed the show's museum shop, and produced a special TEDxBeijing Salon to mark the event...
The exhibition in Beijing was so successful, it was expanded for the China Art Museum exhibition in Shanghai, and led to sales of monumental sculptures and a special exhibition in Hong Kong.
